After a lackluster rookie year, Steelers coaches are growing frustrated with former first-round draft pick Le’Veon Bell. Coaches have taken to calling into question his work ethic and ability to succeed in the NFL.

The “Pittsburgh Steelers recent news” is a disappointing former first-round draft bust who has drawn embarrassing criticism from Pittsburgh Steelers coaches after shocking behavior. Read more in detail here: pittsburgh steelers recent news.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be seeking for a franchise quarterback in the near future. That won’t be Dwayne Haskins Jr., it’s fair to say. In his third NFL season, the former first-round choice has generally been a letdown.

After his actions before to the Steelers’ Week 10 draw with the Detroit Lions, Haskins Jr.’s situation is only going to get worse. The coaching staff in Pittsburgh isn’t thrilled with him right now.

Since his debut in the NFL, Dwayne Haskins Jr. has been a flop.

When Dwayne Haskins Jr. committed to Ohio State in 2016, his future seemed to be bright. He is a four-star recruit and the No. 5 quarterback in the 2016 class, according to 247 Sports.

Haskins Jr. decided to join the 2019 NFL Draft after an outstanding second season with the Buckeyes.

After Kyler Murray was picked first overall, the argument erupted about whether Haskins or Daniel Jones would be the next quarterback selected.

Jones was selected at No. 6 overall by the New York Giants, while the Ohio State product was selected at No. 15 overall by the Washington Football Team.

Because Haskins Jr. played high school football at neighboring Bullis School, there was a lot of excitement when Washington picked him.

The Highland Park, New Jersey native was only with the team for two seasons. Over the course of two seasons, he made 13 starts and had a 3-10 record.

In 16 appearances, Haskins Jr. has passed for 2,804 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. Washington was able to cut ties with the 24-year-old following the 2020 season due to off-field troubles.

Now he’s with the Pittsburgh Steelers, attempting to resurrect his career, but things aren’t going well.

Despite his early detractors, the Pittsburgh Steelers offered Dwayne Haskins Jr. a second opportunity at an NFL career.

After Washington released Haskins Jr. in the summer, the Steelers signed him to a one-year deal. Behind Ben Roethlisberger, he competed with Mason Rudolph and Joshua Dobbs for the backup quarterback role.

No one player stood out as the obvious top option after training camp and the preseason. To begin the regular season, though, Pittsburgh placed Rudolph as the second-string quarterback on the depth chart.

When Roethlisberger underwent coronavirus (COVID-19) treatment before Week 10, head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed his choice by declaring Rudolph the starter.

Some of the Steelers’ coaches were not pleased with Haskins Jr.’s actions before the game against the Detroit Lions, according to NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala.

Kinkhabwala elaborated on her thoughts on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh.

Haskins Jr was witnessed throwing sloppy passes and continuously checking his phone, according to Kinkhabwala. During pregame warmups, one coach was especially dissatisfied with Haskins Jr.’s performance.

“Take a look at it!” Isn’t that ridiculous? “That’s simply laziness,” the coach, who did not want to be identified, added.

The remarks encapsulate the rookie quarterback’s whole career so far.

Pittsburgh sorely needs to find a future quarterback.

Dwayne Haskins Jr. is just 24 years old, so there is still time for him to make a difference. However, after the 2021 NFL season, Pittsburgh may not be the best fit for him.

It’s a pity, since there’s a lot of potential. However, he hasn’t yet shown the maturity and commitment necessary to develop a long-term NFL career.

Ben Roethlisberger is 39 years old, and his NFL career may be over sooner rather than later. The Steelers, on the other hand, don’t seem to have a clear strategy for life beyond the potential Hall of Famer.

The Steelers’ management staff must be concerned about Big Ben’s deterioration in terms of the team’s future in 2022 and beyond. Sadly, neither Haskins Jr. nor Mason Rudolph look to be the long-term option at quarterback.

Pittsburgh will almost certainly need to make a deal in the summer or attempt to get a high-upside draft pick.

Pittsburgh has plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, but the quarterback position is one where the front management cannot afford to make a mistake.
