Amuzo, a leading developer of cutting-edge mobile games and apps, has today revealed wipEout Rush – the brand new free-to-play racing game for smartphones.
The wipeout reboot is a brand-new experience in the Wipeout series. It features a new race mode, and futuristic tracks with extreme speed and obstacles that will test your skills.
Thanks to Amuzo and publisher Rogue, the iconic Wipeout series is receiving a fresh new appearance. The Dartmouth-based developer is working on wipEout Rush, a new mobile entry in the Wipeout series that will be released later in 2021 and will put you in charge of a team rather than a car.
wipEout Rush challenges you to lead an all-star squad to triumph by selecting ships, managing improvements, and combining crafts in a sleek comic-book design.
Wipeout mythology may also be found in ship parts and other treasures, according to Amuzo. Five courses, 60 ships, various weaponry, and 12 Championship Cups, each with its own boss, are split between Quick Race and Championship Cup modes in wipEout Rush.
Rogue’s CEO, Matt Casamassina, said:
I grew up playing Wipeout games on consoles, and they will continue to exist on PlayStation hardware, but we wanted to reimagine the series’ furious pace and beautiful presentation for a new generation of mobile gamers.
We’re working closely with Amuzo and Sony Interactive Entertainment to make sure wipEout Rush provides an experience that’s not just complimentary and additive to the main console experience, but also extremely accessible and new for mobile gamers.
The game does not yet have a definite release date, but it will be available for iOS and Android in the near future.
