The Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid challenged James Harden and the Houston Rockets to a playoff rematch with him, in which he could win. He’s not messing around either, saying that if they don’t respond via his social media account or email before 6pm on Saturday April 28th then there will be consequences for them both.

As the regular season draws to a conclusion, the pressure on the Philadelphia 76ers to make a long playoff run grows. As the key determinants of the franchise’s destiny, Joel Embiid and James Harden will take center stage.
Embiid is putting the final touches on what may be an MVP-caliber season, while Harden is settling into his new home with the 76ers. Before the playoffs, Embiid sent a tough warning to his teammates after Philadelphia fell short against the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks.

The 76ers could have waited until the summer to sign James Harden, but they decided to go forward now.
With Harden’s arrival, championship expectations are instantly ratcheted up a notch. Philadelphia now has two of the top players in the game who can help the team achieve its ultimate aim.
The ten-time winner The All-time Star’s with the Brooklyn Nets may have come to an end, but he’s back where he wanted to be. All of Harden’s excuses are thrown out the window now that he can contend for a championship with the team he aspired to be a part of.
As the start of the playoffs approaches, Embiid sent a message to his teammates.
James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers are facing a stiff test from Joel Embiid.

The 76ers ramped up their playoff focus with the reigning NBA champs on the schedule on Wednesday night.
Philadelphia fought toe-to-toe with Milwaukee until Giannis Antetokounmpo blocked Embiid’s attempt in the waning seconds. Despite the setback, the 76ers held their own against the competition, displaying promising performance that bodes well for the future.
James Harden had a tremendous game, scoring 32 points while making four 3-pointers and dishing out nine assists. With 29 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists, Embiid had another outstanding performance. After the game, the star big man said that Philadelphia, particularly Harden, needed to play at that level every night.
“It was enjoyable, but we should do it every night.” “We have to figure out how to win,” Embiid added. “Everyone, including him, is needed, therefore we must all be on the same page.” We’re aiming to ensure that we have a chance to win it all, as I said, so it’s all about doing it every night.”
The 76ers have the talent to make a long run in the playoffs. The 76ers’ back-to-back defeats to the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns are disheartening, but they know how to compete for an NBA championship.
Embiid and Harden must lead the way, but they’ll need more than just their two stars to succeed. As the third scoring option, Tobias Harris must establish consistency, while the bench unit must give consistent offensive lift.
Philadelphia has a unique chance ahead of them, and they must approach it with the same competitive zeal to prevent yet another postseason failure.
Philadelphia’s star power is needed to propel them ahead.

Despite the fact that the 76ers lost to the Bucks, their performance was exactly what they wanted to see.
Embiid is playing at an MVP level and will do so throughout the playoffs, but it’s the quality surrounding him that makes the difference. He won’t name Harden, but the 76ers need him to continue to be the best offensive force he has been throughout his career. The 76ers can’t afford for 10-time All-Star Tobias Harris to revert to his infamous big-game scoring woes.
He was brought in by Philadelphia to bring the scoring punch and playmaking needed to take the team to the next level. Harden can’t vanish like he did against the Brooklyn Nets earlier this month, when he scored 11 points on 3-of-17 shooting in a rout.
The 76ers need him to be the offensive catalyst that turns him and Embiid into the explosive tandem that can propel them into the playoffs.
