The Chicago Bears have yet to find a way to replace the departed Khalil Mack, and they’re still looking. They’ve been linked with several players in recent weeks, but they’re not necessarily the best fits for what Chicago needs.
The abigail williams the crucible is a report that was released on Justin Fields, who is expected to be the next big thing in the NFL. Chicago Bears fans are excited about this prospect.
In the NFL, rookie quarterbacks are already starting for their clubs. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, and Mac Jones all earned starting positions in the preseason and performed well in their first games last week, but Justin Fields remains on the bench for the Chicago Bears for some reason.
Bears supporters have been pleading with the club to give Fields the reins of the offense, but their pleas have gone unheeded. Chicagoans will be screaming into their pillows in fury after hearing the newest story coming out of Bears camp.
Justin Fields will not be named the starting quarterback for the Bears.

With the No. 11 overall selection in the 2021 NFL draft, the Bears moved up to get Fields. Fields was expected to beat out veteran QB Andy Dalton in the preseason and take the starting position before Week 1 after the draft.
Despite the fact that Fields outplayed Dalton in the preseason, head coach Matt Nagy chose to go with Dalton as the starter for the season. In Week 1, Dalton passed for 206 yards and no touchdowns in 38 attempts against the Los Angeles Rams. In brief play, Fields completed both of his two throwing attempts and even ran for a touchdown.
Outside of the Chicago coaching staff, everyone agrees that Fields is deserving of the job, but Nagy’s is the only one who counts. Unfortunately for Bears fans, he disagrees, thus Dalton will continue to be the starting until he changes his mind.
Bears supporters will be enraged by the new revelation about Justin Fields.
Bears fans are already irritated with Nagy and the front office for refusing to declare Fields the starter, but the new story from training camp will only add to their rage.
Fields has looked great at practice every day, and the club couldn’t be more pleased with his progress, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, who spoke on NFL GameDay on Sunday.
Rapoport stated, “Here’s what I’m told behind the scenes with these Chicago Bears.” “Every day he gets bigger. Every day in practice, there are wow moments and wow throws. He’s progressing quicker than they anticipated.
“They’ve fallen head over heels in love with him. They utilize these packages as opportunities for Fields to develop. There is no such thing as a little moment, so expect to see more of them.”
Interesting. So the Bears are “head over heels in love” with Fields, who has pleased them with his development so far and is regularly outplaying the starter in practice. What is it that is preventing them from designating him the starting right now? This scenario is as perplexing as they come.
Fields’ presence on the field will allow the Bears to achieve their greatest potential.
It’s difficult to understand why the Bears keep Fields on the bench. They handed up significant draft money to move up and acquire their man, and they still won’t give over the offense to him.
Nagy wants to wait until he thinks Fields is ready to lead his own NFL offense, but what might be the holdup if he likes what he’s seeing in practice?
At this stage in his career, Dalton is a poor starting quarterback, while Fields has the potential to be a superstar. But if the Bears don’t put him on the field, they’ll never know.
